Preparing Eastern European Missionaries PDF Print E-mail

The Cross-Cultural Ministry Training program formally prepares Eastern European and Central Asian believers in intercultural studies so they may serve as cross-cultural ministers. ENI personnel teach missiological courses at five Bible colleges located in Ukraine, Moldova and Russia. In September, 2008 ENI launched the World Missions department at Kiev Theological Seminary in Ukraine. We envision producing multitudes of culturally sensitive, biblically-motivated cross-cultural ministers who will influence Eastern Europe and Central Asia with the Gospel.

Awakening Church Mission Activity PDF Print E-mail

The Great Commission Conferences program educates and inspires leaders and members of local churches to become actively involved in sending missionaries to lost people groups at home and in neighboring nations.  Each year we hold regional conferences resulting in many young people volunteering for missionary service and church leaders committing to begin a mission emphasis in their local churches.  Our long-term goal is to inspire a mission movement among the churches in Ukraine by holding at least one conference in each of the 25 oblasts (states) of Ukraine.

Distributing Books for Christian Workers PDF Print E-mail

The Basic Library Sets for Pastors and Students program seeks to help national Christian leaders and missionaries serve more effectively by providing them with a basic set of seven theological and ministerial textbooks.  We have distributed 81 library sets to select students and pastors over the past five years and we intend to give out at least 12 sets per year and more as we are able.  Our long-term objective is to give a set to everyone enrolled in our cross-cultural training programs and to key leaders and pastors whom we seek to encourage.

Recruiting Short -Term Instructors PDF Print E-mail

The Short-Term Professors program connects qualified instructors with approved Bible colleges and seminaries so they can teach students who would otherwise not have a professor.   We have sponsored ten volunteer professors over the past three years, many of whom have established a regular schedule of teaching with us.  Our desire is to create a pool of 24 qualified professors, each a specialist in his or her field.  That would equal two for each of the 12 courses we teach. Instructors may also teach in one of our various leadership training conferences.

Producing Missiological Materials PDF Print E-mail

To help churches put their calling into action, ENI makes Missiological Materials available to to them by either buying and distributing existing materials in Russian or producing materials (books, videos and booklets) in Russian
that will inspire and equip national church leaders and members.

Proposed Programs PDF Print E-mail

  1. Fast Track Missionary Training programs would provide cross-cultural ministry training at the non-degree level in order to rapidly deploy selected believers for missionary work. These two-to-four-week courses would teach basic missiology and cultural adaptation methods.

  2. Church and Missionary Development seminars would serve three purposes: 1) To guide volunteers in planning their missionary careers, 2) To train church leaders in developing their mission programs organizationally and financially, and 3) To connect volunteers and churches with ministry-enabling partners.

  3. Equipping Foreign Students conferences would prepare Muslim background believers studying in Kiev for a return to their homelands.  We would teach them how to grow personally in their faith, how to share their faith with others, and how to serve as lay-ministers in national churches.

Other Ministry Programs PDF Print E-mail
  1. The Irpen Bible Church” project assists in the cost of completing this church congregation’s building. To date we have raised nearly $400,000 for the project and part of the building is already in use. We want to see this building completed and used as both a house of worship and as one of our missionary training centers.

  2. The National Workers Salary Supplement program supplements the low salaries of worthy national pastors in Ukraine and Belarus. We have subsidized four ministers over the past four years at an average of $200 per month each. They are church leaders who are pushing our agenda of world missions forward. In the future we intend to subsidize the support of key graduates from our programs once they commit to serve as cross-cultural ministers.
