A Brief History of Equippers Network International

Equippers Network International (ENI) was founded on July 31st, 2002 by Dr. Richard Strahm (President), Dr. James Sweeney (Vice-president) and Rev. David Yount (Secretary) with the purpose of providing instructors for struggling Bible colleges and seminaries in Eastern Europe.

In December of 2006 the ENI board revised its mission statement to focus on training Eastern Europeans to serve as foreign missionaries, both formally (in Bible colleges and seminaries) and informally (by means of seminars and conferences).

ENI began with one professor teaching in four Bible colleges in Ukraine, and now has a dozen professors partnering with 12 Bible colleges and seminaries in five nations, equipping over 600 students per year. In addition, dozens of volunteers serve as teachers for ENI's various seminars and informal training events in Eastern Europe.

In 2008, ENI opened its four-year World Missions Program in partnership with Kiev Theological Seminary, Ukraine.
